Barbara’s goal is to connect with a client, establish a trusting therapeutic relationship, and assist the individual in developing the tools they need to work through their problems and struggles. I use a client-centered solution-focused approach and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My areas of interest & experience are grief & loss; death & dying; LGBTQ issues, and those who are affected and/or infected with HIV. I meet the client where they are, and we move along together in their journey of healing and growth. I welcome children, youth, adults and families.
