Kathrine Rookwood, PsyD
My goal is to provide therapy that offers transformation and healing from core issues. I enjoy working with children, adolescents and women who struggle with a range of issues such as anxiety, adjustment, depression, grief, marital issues, stress, parenting, communication, women’s issues and low self-esteem. I strive to create a therapeutic style that is warm and disarming while challenging clients to let go of limiting beliefs or unhealthy patterns that have sabotaged their full potential. My philosophical approach is to integrate a holistic perspective which incorporates a person’s psychological and spiritual dimensions. I also conduct Psychological and Educational evaluations for a variety of concerns including ADHD and learning disabilities.
Education
I received a Master of Divinity with a Counseling focus from Tyndale University and Seminary. I received a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University.
