Liz Barrett, LGPC

Past negative experiences can begin to weigh on you and affect your day-to-day life, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, lost, or stuck. You might find yourself constantly worrying, noticing patterns in your relationships that are hard to break, or feeling like you are the common denominator without fully understanding why. At times, things can feel so heavy that you wish you would not wake up, or that life felt at least a little more manageable. You do not have to navigate that alone. I am here to help.

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University, Maryland, and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Maryland Global Campus. As a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), I work with adolescents through adulthood, creating a space where you can be brave, build self-acceptance, develop tools for life’s challenges, and feel empowered to be your authentic self. I bring warmth, humor, and empathy into our work together, showing up in a genuine and collaborative way.

Working toward self-improvement is challenging, and we can work on it together. When you are ready, I will be here to provide a space where you feel supported, heard, and empowered to be yourself and pursue meaningful growth in your life.
